Yazmin received her B.A. in Studio Art and Education from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, where she lived for 5 years since arriving in the USA. After graduating, Yazmin spent a 5th year on campus creating work for two separate shows as a resident Fifth Year Artist. Yazmin is currently pursuing her MFA in Painting at the University of South Dakota. In her work, Yazmin explores femininity, power, vulnerability and the intersectionality of all things that make us human.
